AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF THE CALHOUN COUNTY NURSING HOME TO DONATE A SUM OF MONEY TO ASSIST IN THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF HILLCREST HOSPITAL IN CALHOUN CITY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Calhoun County Nursing Home is hereby authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute, out of any funds that it determines to be surplus and unneeded, an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) during calendar year 1999 to assist in the operation and maintenance of Hillcrest Hospital, a community hospital owned by the Town of Calhoun City, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
